In the Grade 5 language arts curriculum, students are encouraged to unleash their creativity and hone their storytelling skills. They learn the art of structuring a story, developing characters, and crafting a compelling plot, with exposure to various writing styles such as descriptive, narrative, and persuasive writing.The curriculum covers the importance of storytelling and the key elements of a story, including characters, plot, and setting. Students are taught how to structure a story effectively, focusing on the beginning, middle, and end. 

Subject: General Science

In the Grade 3 science curriculum, students delve into the scientific method, comprehending its steps through hands-on experiences with simple experiments and observations. They formulate hypotheses, make predictions, analyze data, and draw conclusions, gaining a foundational understanding of scientific inquiry. The simplified steps of the scientific method include posing questions, formulating hypotheses, designing and conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and effectively communicating results. 

Subjects: Mathematics

The Grade 5 math curriculum covers a comprehensive array of topics, beginning with the addition and subtraction of whole numbers, accompanied by word problems to reinforce these fundamental operations. Multiplication of whole numbers is explored, along with its properties and specific cases involving tens, hundreds, and thousands. The division of whole numbers follows, progressing to the representation of integers on a number line and the application of addition rules for integers. Multiplication of fractions, including cases involving whole numbers, is introduced, emphasizing properties and the multiplicative inverse.
