Chemistry

This advanced chemistry curriculum offers a recapitulation of crucial concepts from Grade 11, focusing on periodic trends, group elements, and transition metals. It revisits ionization energy, electron affinity, atomic and ionic radii variations, as well as the physical and chemical properties associated with periodic trends. The curriculum delves into effective nuclear charge, shielding effect, and the modern periodic law, extending the discussion to include elements beyond the seventh period, exploring anomalous properties and trends in the periodic table.

Physics

This advanced physics curriculum involves a comprehensive recapitulation of key topics from Grade 11, focusing on various branches of physics. It starts by revisiting electrostatics, covering electric fields due to point charges and continuous charge distributions, Gauss’s law, electric potential, potential difference, capacitors, and dielectrics. The conservation of charge, electric field, and potential due to conductors are also explored. Moving to current electricity, the curriculum revisits Ohm’s law, resistivity, series and parallel circuits involving resistors and capacitors, Kirchhoff’s laws, electrical power, energy, heating effects of electric current, Joule’s law, superconductivity, and electrical safety precautions.

Biology

This comprehensive biology curriculum covers a wide array of topics. It begins with an introduction to homeostasis and its critical role in living organisms, encompassing the regulation of body temperature, pH, blood sugar levels, and the significance of feedback mechanisms, both positive and negative. The exploration extends to the role of hormones and the endocrine system in maintaining homeostasis, along with an examination of homeostatic imbalances and their implications on health. Homeostasis in plants is discussed, particularly focusing on the regulation of water and mineral balance, as well as adaptations for maintaining homeostasis in extreme environments.

Mathematics

This mathematics curriculum begins with an introduction to functions and their notation, covering various types such as polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. It explores the composition of functions and inverse functions, emphasizing the concepts of domain and range. The curriculum then delves into limits of functions and their properties, discussing continuity and differentiability, along with applications of limits in calculus. Mathematical modeling with functions is introduced, leading to the definition and basic rules of differentiation.

Computer science

This comprehensive curriculum provides an introduction to programming languages and paradigms, covering fundamental concepts such as variables, data types, and operators. It explores control structures, including conditionals and loops, and introduces arrays and lists.
